About the event

This workshop is the 2nd of our Mental Health Literacy (MHL) series of 4 classes. You do not have to attend all 4, but it is highly recommended that you do. However, if you do miss a session, you can always attend it another time, for this series occurs throughout the year both in-person and online.

The purpose of this Mental Health Literacy series is to educate families about mental illness and to prepare them in the event of a mental health crisis. In this 2nd class of the series, we'll talk about specific illnesses and disorders and treatments as well as hear the personal stories of those living with mental illness. We’ll also share some simple screening tools you can use with your loved ones.

Adults and youth ages 12 and up are welcome to attend this class.
