About the event

This workshop is the 3rd of a series of 4 about mental health literacy. You do not have to attend all 4, but it is recommended. The purpose of this Mental Health Literacy series is to educate families about mental illness and to prepare them in the event of a mental health crisis. In this 3rd class of the series, we'll talk about the mental health challenges that are most commonly affecting our youth, the importance of early intervention and treatment, and work on our family connection and communication skills.

ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD are just a few of the mental health challenges facing our youth, but they are management with support from friends and family, and above all, compassionate but direct communication. In this session, you will hone your communication skills to keep the peace and support one another with love.

Adults and youth ages 12 and up are welcome to attend this class..
