We are thrilled to announce our Second Annual Art Contest inspired by the life and work of artist Frida Kahlo! We have 2 divisions for 2023: high school teens ages 13 to 17 and youth ages 18-25. The contest is open to youth living in the US, Canada, and of course, Mexico, Frida’s homeland!

We have found that the arts -- theatre, visual arts, music, dance, poetry, prose -- you know, the fun stuff -- is a wonderful way of coping with mental health challenges because they allow one to fully our express feelings and concerns for which there are no words. Submit your 2-dimensional art by midnight on November 5, 2023 via our website, or download an entry form and email it to us with attached high resolution copies of your artwork. Winners will be announced by November 20, 2023.

Cash prizes of up to $150 and inclusion of your art in our 2024 Calendar will go to the top contenders! Our judges include local Cleveland professional artists, PLUS we'll be posting your work in our online Contest Gallery, where you can have your friends and family vote for their favorites: $1 equals one tax-deductible vote! People's choice voting will take place between November 6 and 25, 2023.
